The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce Annual Economic Outlook Breakfast was held at the New York Athletic Club in New York on April 4, 2011. The breakfast was sponsored by Wells Fargo. Guests were welcomed by Jeffrey Bernstein, Chairman, Manhattan Chamber of Commerce and Nancy Ploeger, President, Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. Opening Remarks were delivered by Joe Kirk, Regional President for Wells Fargo New York and Connecticut. Keynote speaker, Anika R. Khan, Vice President and Economist with Wells Fargo presented her prognosis and data regarding today's economic outlook. Greg David, Director of the Business & Economics Reporting Program at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism then moderated a panel discussion on the economic outlook for New York. The panel included: Ronnie Lowenstein, Director of the New York City Independent Budget Office; Kenneth McCarthy, Managing Director of NY Metropolitan Area Research, Cushman and Wakefield; and Steven Spinola, President of The Real Estate Board of New York.
