The "Celebrate Our Future" Cocktail Reception benefited The Jewish Education Project, which invests in Jewish children and the educators who shape them into community leaders.
During the reception, the winners of the 2012 Jewish Education Project's Young Pioneers Award were recognized. The Jewish Education Project Young Pioneers Award 2012 recipients were:
Jacqueline Marks, The JCC in Manhattan for Early Childhood and Family Engagement.
Rivke Pianko, Westchester Hebrew High School for Day Schools.
Yoni Stadlin, Eden Village Camp
for Open Space.
Alison Schulman Stamm, Temple Sinai of Roslyn for Teen Education and Engagement.
Michael Witman, Temple Beth El of Great Neck for Congregational Learning.
The winners each demonstrated a personal and professional commitment to new ideas, and proven use of technology or other innovative approaches to inspire students and families.
