Virtual Enterprises International.

This spring, Virtual Enterprises International showcased the next generation of CEOs in action at its annual Youth Business Summit. The 2011 Youth Business Summit, which includes the National Business Plan Competition, the Global Business Challenge, Partners' Breakfast and International Trade Fair, affords students from around the globe the opportunity to gather and engage in activities that highlight their global business expertise. During the National Business Plan Competition, 19 student teams from cities across America presented their business plans to a panel of distinguished industry judges as they competed for prizes. At the Global Business Challenge, multinational teams of students were put to the test as they worked to solve a business case study involving one of the most global companies in the world, Apple, Inc. VEI presented Crystal Leadership Awards to Dennis Walcott, incoming Chancellor of the New York City Department of Education, Kishore Siva, SVP of HSBC Bank USA, N.A., and Geraldine Ambrosio, Principal of Dewitt Clinton High School during the Partners' Breakfast. The Youth Business Summit culminated in the VEI International Trade Fair on April 7, 2011 at New York City's historic 69th Regiment Armory. The International Trade Fair featured approximately 3,000 youth exhibitors in a race against time to log sales of highly desired goods and services. The VEI Youth Business Summit is sponsored by the New York Life Foundation, with additional support from Deloitte & Touche, HSBC Bank USA, N.A., and McGraw-Hill Education.
